Ionel Aungurenci is a contemporary artist born in 1981 in Romania who paints in oil especially in knife technique but bot only. He explores the reality of people today and how some of them can find moments of happiness in the simplest of things. In his works he tries to capture these unique moments in order to present them to the viewer in a style inspired by a combination of Impressionism and sometimes Surrealism rendered in a contemporary manner. His art represent a load of emotion in a crowded and stressful world and has shown regionally, nationally and internationally
